I'm looking to make a list of items in a database. I have many ideas how to do this, but took a good month + off from coding. I was thinking of taking the register / profile pages and changing them around to point to new database variables. Basically only Admins (plus possibly selected people), but lets work with Admins for now, can click to add an item to a database. Layout would be something like this: --------------- Item --------------- Description Data 1 Data 2 Data 3 Etc --------------- I could probably figure it out eventually, but wondered if anyone had code or examples that are more basic to where it's just what is listed above or maybe just like an Item and a Description since I know how to add additional info. Basically in the admin section there would be Item Configuration (add item, delete item, etc), but when users click items for example they would be sorted alpha, and possibly in colums by item type. When they click on an item name it would then display the Item with the info, such as viewing someones profile. I hope someone is under standing this. I'll see if anyone has something simple put together to possibly help out. I'm running Snitz 3.4.4 and using SQL at the moment. Would like to try to keep the code backwards compatible with Access, but it really doesn't matter. Thanks to whoever helps out and big hand out to the Snitz team and community for an awsome job well done (in progress) ^_^ - Dream |
