I'm guessing that Jon Bon Jovi is older than your parents.

I'll give an update on how things went later when I have some time.

So, we arrived at the arena after a 2 hour drive. On the way, I gave them a stack of CDs to choose from to listen to. Luckily, Sanctus Real was the first CD they chose. They didn't know it was a hockey game until we walked into the arena and into the seats. They were pretty excited. Then, during the game, they announced over the loud speaker about a free concert after the game featuring Sanctus Real. That's when they found out what was going on.

While they were in watching the game after we first got there, I called the drummer on his cell phone and we hooked up out in the concessions area. My brother is friends with a couple guys in the band. I told him I'd like to hang out with him after the show and introduce my wife and friends. He said that we could hang out downstairs after they sign autographs at the merchandise table. We ended up talking to the guys for about 30-45 minutes after the show. It was a lot of fun and my friends thought that was really cool that we could do that especially since it was my friend's first concert.

Thanks for helping me out on this one! By the way, Bon Jovi (the band) & Jon Bon Jovi (the person) are old! :)
