I am wondering if it's possible to use this forum as an audit trail for email messages. Specifically, any message that comes from my site using CDONTS, would be BCC'd to the forum. If the message SUBJECT had no RE: or FW: it would start a new thread, (hopfully I would also be ble to use the TO Address to determine which folder of threads it would go into). If a RE: or FW: existed, it would find that thread and enter the response as a reply.
This would allow me to use the forum kind of like a Customer Service tracking tool. Someone sends a message... Please call me about your product. The server sends the message as email to someone in the company, but BCC's it into a new Post. Then when replying, the person from the company would have the forum/folder location somehow as an email address that they would enter on the BCC or the reply.
Then management could puruse the forum looking to see which messages had not been answered, and what the turn-around and discussion was about.
Any ideas?
