Is it possible to allow the admins (and maybe mods) to put images in their posts, but not allow average members?

| Keep in mind that unless correctly handled, allowing certain items to be used by selected members only (in this case Admins), you could end up with problems when people quote those people's replies. It shouldn't be anything too serious, probably just showing the forum code instead of formatting it. |

Thanks for the advise.
In this case it's for my "press release" board, so containing images of cover art etc. and all topics will be locked soon as I post em.

| If the topics get locked right after posting, I don't see why you'd want to restrict the use of images to admins only. If you're talking about one specific forum that'll need to allow images to be used, a "simple" check to see what forum will be posted in should suffice to check whether or not images will be allowed or disallowed. This would then allow them in the forum where you put your press releases, and disallow them in all other forums, regardless of who posts. |
