Hi...
This may have been done already, but i can't find it.
I'm looking for a MOD that will send a PM to a new registrant as soon as they click the confimation link in their email.
Obviously this relies on Private Messages MOD being installed.... but i wondered, has this been done? |

| It has been done before, but I don't think there is a free-standing mod for it at the moment. I know that Huw's Portal mod contains this feature, and I think that Crash's portal also contains it. I used Huw's code to implement this feature on my forums, but it requires some knowledge about that portal mod to apply it. |

Just the nitty gritty to shove into register.asp ... don't worry bout lengthy instructions as I know snitz pretty well.

I can't find this happening anywhere in Crash's download... nothing in register.asp that would trigger this.
I emailed pokemon... so far, nothing.
I cannot even download the source of huwr's forum.... so i can't really go no further with this...
Oh well.. lol |

| aspwiz, Im sorry for misleading you about Huw's portal sourcecode. It is located in this topic. When searching for the code, look for PM NEW MEMBER. The version that Huw has added, has an admin interface for the mod (turn it on/off, change the PM sent). Just so you know. |

I too am looking for this mod.
I have downloaded from the magicmushroom thing.
I have found a reference to it in register.asp and a new file 'inc_pm_new_mem.asp
are there any other references to it anywhere?
Also how do I include this into the database? im not too good at latering databses. |
