What is the easiest way to network two computers so you can get files from one over to the other? I found this site for a USB Network, but am not sure how good it is. USB Network Cable. Or would it be easier to make the old HD a slave to the new one? And if so, how would i do that?

Another thing also, what are some good sites/books that I could get that would teach me how to deal with computer problems like this? I'd like to go into a computer related field and would like to know everything I can before I go to college (to make it easier for me ) Thanks

Easiest way (these days) would be TCP/IP. Make sure you have a vacant network card (NIC) in each, and get a "cross-over" RJ45 cable. Assign IP addresses to both machines, and you're away . You don't mention operating systems, so there are some minor problems to consider there.

This setup is good if one of your machines is connected to the net, because now the other one can use the net at the same time.
