Hi,
today I downloaded Snitz Forum for a customer and it works well. The only problem I have is: I need 1 Forum with three or four categories. Users who registrate I have to put in one or more categories, other categories they should not be able to access.
I dont find a way?

| you can make hidden forums which you would turn that feature on through the admin panel, then when you make the forums you can make it so it's allowed member list - hidden and editing the forum properties you add the usernames of the people who can view the forum. If they are not on the list, then they wont even know the forum exists. |

Sorry, I dont find how to hidden a Forum, only to lock. And How to group members to a forum?

noch dazu, wie ich gerade gesehen habe, auch aus good old Austria.

Nein, halt doch noch eine Frage:
bei der Registrierung eines neuen Users bekomme ich keine mail. Ich bin sicher, auch hier gibt es etwas, was ich nur übersehe. Sonst klappt der email Versand problemlos (User nach Freigabe bekommt die mail etc.)
Damit sich niemand hier verarscht fühlt, auch noch in Englisch:

One (last?) question:
after registering of a user I do not receive a mail (as Administrator). E-mail Configuration is turned ON, Admin mail Address inserted, email Validation is ON and so on. mail Notification afterregistering works.

| Admin doesn't get an email notification about people registering. That's how it works, but I know there are topics about this subject, where the answer was to add a BCC field to the part in inc_mail.asp for your mail component. I'm pretty sure a search will turn up some relevant information. |
