Hi gents
I have version 3.4.03 to which I have just added all of the security fixes. I am now missing the Pending New members link in Admin options, can anyone tell me how to restore this please?

Thanks in advance.

Anton

add to your admin_home.asp about line 147 underneath " " <p><b>Other Configuration Options and Features:</b>" & vbNewLine & _
" <UL>" & vbNewLine

add:
if strEmailVal = "1" then Response.Write(" <LI><span class=""spnMessageText""><a href=""admin_accounts_pending.asp"">Members Pending</a></span> <font size=""" & strFooterFontSize & """>(" & User_Count & ")</font></LI>" & vbNewLine)

it should be above
Response.Write	" <LI><span class=""spnMessageText""><a href=""admin_moderators.asp"">Moderator Setup</a></span></LI>" & vbNewLine & _
		" <LI><span class=""spnMessageText""><a href=""admin_emaillist.asp"">E-mail List</a></span></LI>" & vbNewLine & _

I tried that jez, but to no avail. I've posted a text version, if you wouldn't mind taking a look. Does it look right to you?

make line 151 down look like this:
	" <UL>" & vbNewLine

if strEmailVal = "1" then Response.Write(" <LI><span class=""spnMessageText""><a href=""admin_accounts_pending.asp"">Members Pending</a></span> <font size=""" & strFooterFontSize & """>(" & User_Count & ")</font></LI>" & vbNewLine)

if that doesn't work it could well be a mod u hav installed - I don't have most of them so i can't really help you. You had two members pending lines though... try as i said above

I doubt that it's anything in the code that needs to be modified. See Nikkol's post, most likely who every hacked into your forum turned off e-mail validation.

You were all right. E-mail validation had indeed been turned off (boy did I feel a fool) and I have the above line of code duplicated, so now I have 2 'members Pending' links. Which of course I'll sort out later.

Thank you all for your time in helping. Much appreciated.
