We have implemented the Snitz forums in our environment using NT authentication and configuring the AutoLogon option. This allows our users to hit the forum and have an account generated on the fly. We also turned off the option for requiring unique email addresses since the auto-generated accounts leave blank email addresses.
Of the 70+ users on our forum, we are seeing duplicate accounts created for a few (maybe 3) users. All accounts show the same account name. To resolve, we have simply been removing each of the generated accounts. In one of the cases, this fixed the problem. In the other 2, the duplicate accounts returned. In these cases, it has actually generated multiple (3 & 4) accounts.
Has anyone else seen this behavior? Any idea where I can look to try to pinpoint the problem?
