I hope this hasn't been covered already; I searched to no avail.

Just discovered this. Using Poll MOD version 2.0.7 - In the answer fields only, if you use a ' it appears as a " after posting.

Anybody aware of this, or is it me [again ]?

I had fixed this problem already. Are you sure you are using the latest version of the poll mod? Maybe you missed some changes?

I don't have that problem when I test the poll mod on my site.

You know, I'm not really sure what happened here. I never had the problem before.

Yes, I am certain that I've kept up with the changes. Davio, what file[s] are the changes that would affect this be on? I will recheck my files ... Thanks.

Could you tell me, at least, what version update included this fix? Please? I must have either missed it or, more likely, overwrote the change recently.

Why not download the poll updates and check the files yourself? You can check the history to see when I fixed that problem.

Sorry I couldn't reply to you sooner. I am unable to get online during this week.

If still no luck, post a link to a txt version of your topic.asp, post.asp and post_info.asp. I'll look them over for you.

I have done that, Davio. I didn't see any mention. Let me go through it again. I'll get back, one way or another.

No problem with the delay. Not a critical issue. Thanks.

Davio, I cannot find any reference to this issue being fixed in the history file.

Here are links to the 3 files you requested. I should tell you that my server will be down for maintenance sometime Friday afternoon/evening. No rush, if you get to it while it's down, Saturday or beyond is fine.

In post_info.asp line 542 and 977, remove the ChkString() function from around the Request.Form code.
txtAns(i) = chkString(Request.Form("answer" & CStr(i)),"SQLString")
I checked your topic.asp file and that looks ok. Haven't checked your post.asp file yet, but I believe that was it.

That seems to have fixed it. Thanks for the help, Davio! Never would have found that myself.
