Hi Guys,
i have a question.
What do u think about a Map Mod?
It's a dynamic Map from example Germany. A Forum-Member save his coordinates in his profile and the map shows all users of the forum on this Map.
I know, that phpBB2 had this Mod, but i didn't find a Map Mod for Snitz-forums or anything else.... :(

| huh, that's kind of cool. haven't seen it on other forums before, not sure just how useful it is, more of a novelty really. |

The only reason I've not released this mod is that the image map code is ripped off from another (namless) site. |

Like i said the image map code used in these pages is not mine, I can't distribute it without their permission and requests for permission have gone un-answered.
When I came up with the idea for the mod I spent quite a while trying to track down GPL images, and more importantly image map code, to use, I couldn't find any (and didn't have time to make my own) so that's why I'm using this code. |

As far as I can remember, the maps for the map mod are for free.
We only need the generator which readout the coordinates from the database and put a flag for each city on the map. This generator calculate the size of the map with the coordinates of each city. Then you have a point on the map.
I think thats all....
Is there nobody who can convert php to asp????? |
