Just opening the forums officially this weekend, at http://www.saint-pauls.ca a church website where its visitors can enjoy a little intellectual and spiritual enrichment.
Thanks to the developers of Snitz Forums 2000 for the great software and easy installation. Surprised me that the forums can actually run within frames. Keep up the great work!
Thanks to OneWayMule for the Forum Rules MOD and its easy installation.
cheers, Nat webmaster@saint-pauls.ca |

Not bad, although I normally hat frames, Snitz in frames looks good on your site.
Thanks...

BTW - you have a nice collection of rules there, I'd like to "borrow" some of them if you don't mind...
No problem, borrow all you want. If I knew which file they are saved in, I can email it to you.
cheers, Nat

Erick,
Links in the left frame are java applets (Frontpage hover buttons). Seen this before in some NT4 they are greyed out, can't remember why or how to make them work. Next bulletin update to the site for this week will have links at the bottom of the pages, which are not java applets and I know those will work.
cheers, Nat
BTW.... see that we have one pass-time in common. I ride a 2000 VMax 500.

Thanks all for all the great comments.
For those of you considering using snitz in frames, all works reasonably well with few exceptions breaking out of frames. A couple mod admin links seem to break out of frames returning back to the forums, but I can live with that. Also, completing the registration email validation process breaks out, but its easy to live with for now.
cheers all, Nat

If you are concerned about pages breaking out of your frames, you might want to take a look here. http://www.greggriffiths.org/webdev/clientside/ /framemanager/
*edit* hmmm - the word missing in the link between "clientside" and "framemanager" is "java script" (with no space) |

imotep, thanks for the tip, I tried something like you suggested and works like a dream. Now when a new user clicks the email validation link, register.asp should load in context with the site frames and the forums are never orphaned outside its site frames. thanks much...
