I still do not uderstand why you can not get to it Panhandler.. Sorry for you not being able to make it to see the work I have done. You can try http://www.classicmotorcycling.com/forum/ to see the inital side of it, but it all works on http://www.classicmotorcycling.com.au domain.

Also for the judges of the Snitz Awards - Do I have a chance of winning it anytime soon? Thought that I might as well ask...

Cheers,

David Greening

David, are you into classic bikes only, or are you interested in new model bikes as well?

Uhmm... oh yeah, the forums. Well let me make a short list:
  • the orange is a bit hard IMO

  • the icons used on default.asp are okay, but not very clear

  • I really really like the icons you use to show new/old/hot/sticky topics, even though I can't see what they are

  • Major beauty problem on post.asp thanks to the text area being set too large by default. You should probably remove the resizing options and make it a fixed size at 640x480

Sorry for the late reply, but mainly in to the classics, but that don't mean I don't look at the moderns.

I thought that the Orange was better than the red I used to have and more a classic color with the not quite black and the white.
The icons on default.asp are meant to not be real clear as some of the other users may complain that I didn't use their picture.
The new/old/hot/sticky topics icons are a motorcycle helmet that was used in the mid seventies for racing and only wanted 50% watermark.
I may set it to a fixed width, and remove the option to change the size, sounds like a plan that one.

Are there anymore coments from others?

Cheers,

David Greening

one suggestion david,
try using more subtle colours
with deep resolutions it becomes very difficult to view the contents
