Hi All..
Well just got about 99% of the way in setting Snitz up
and get this error

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified /KFR/Forum/setup_login.asp, line 61

Can anyone help please !

Hmmm... due to my own moronic ways, this is no longer a double post.

Martin, let's proceed with this issue here. Please post the info I required here, about the existence of the tables in the DB and whether you have a user record in FORUM_MEMBERS.

Martin, you need to configure the site so that ASP error information is sent to the client.

Almost sounds like he has the wrong db type selected or using a wrong connection string. What he is using, the driver for data source does not exist. My Sql, MS Sql, or access.

I got his config.asp, it is ok, and it's just as he described. I'm inclined to think it's a server issue, he even posted the conn string, it's correct and yet the server says there is no data source name and no default driver specified. Then all of a sudden, setup ran apparently successfully, but all other pages seem to fail without nothing but Internal Server Error messages.

Anyway I checked his config and it's ok.
