Mine has almost run out for 2002 version. Is it worth buying the 2004 version or will just renewing my subscription suffice (eg. kepp 2002)? I can't see how they can be much different?! |

Frankly I don't see much of a difference. However I noticed one thing, at least in Portugal. Norton SystemWorks 2004 includes NAV 2004 and costs almost as much as renewing a subscription (and one year of subscriptions should be included, as it happens with Symantec's products, though I cannot be sure about this). If that is confirmed to be the case, probably buying SystemWorks can be an option, since you get a lot of freebies (if you take a look at the price of a subscription renewal). |

Uhmm...
I have the AV 2003 version. If you reinstall it (Or maybe you need to reinstall windows as well, I'm not sure as I've only reinstalled Norton when I reinstall XP), you have the one year subscription from the day you installed it. Mine is going to expire in December 2004. (But I'm sure I'll reinstall before that . |

Yeah I noticed that too, everytime I reinstall my machine (about every 6 months) the subscription resets itself. Happened with NAV 2002 and NAV 2003 |

I think it's a 6 month subscription, here anyway. When I bought the laptop a few months ago second-hand the seller did a fresh install of WinXP |

It's not like I can stop it. I reinstall XP on my computer once a month due to it starting to slow down over time.
Yeah, I think MS is getting to know me more and more....I've had to call them to activate the OS 7 or 8 times now. |
