My suggestion is for an additional column for the forum. This column to be used for "Subjects" or "Versions". Usage in the Snitz Forum could be for "version" topics could then be sorted according to which version of the forum they apply to. Usage in "our" forums could be according to administrator-chosen subjects such as version numbers or other areas of interest. Admittedly this is similar to categories but it allows sorting of forum categories and topics according to additional criteria chosen by the admin.
Where did the idea come from? Searching for mods in this forum - it is difficult to separate posts relating to different snitz versions. If members were asked to choose a version (or "other") from a dropdown when posting it would be VERY simple to find pertinent information. This could be used for many different ideas and if it is set up by the admin allows that admin to tailor the forum more effectively.
Having just read TOPIC_ID=50485 I wanted to add that the additional column could show images potentially as easily as "subjects" - or at least images that related to "subjects".
