]

go into the admin_faq.asp

and change this code If frs("F_FAQ_TYPE")= 0 Then

to this If frs("F_FAQ_TYPE")=> 0 Then

This will allow you to change them.

that made the icon show up on the FAQ admin page, but only the FAQ's that i had added actually are editable, the others just "do nothing" when you select the "newly available" icon.

jensen, as I said above the default FAQs are not editable because they are not stored in the database.
I'll think about compiling a DBS file for this.

Hi,
I have installed this MOD and it works great. I want to make the FAQ searchable as the Forum. How can i add the FAQ's to the main search page.

Hmm... shouldn't be too hard to add a search function to the FAQs, but I think the problem is how do you want to display the search results?

I've discovered a sneaky bug in the latest version (1.1) of is mod.

Locate the following line in faq.asp (line 98):

If (intFaqType = 4) and (strAllowedForumCode<>"1") Then allowedFaq = False

Shouldn't that be strAllowForumCode?

I noticed it when I was to post a link to that section on my forum, and I couldn't find the link-list of questions.

Im glad to be able to help out, as it is a very convenient mod to have .

(Hope you don't mind OWM)

I liked the option in the Rules mod to allow the rules Categories to appear on seperate pages and wanted that in this mod....so I "modded the mod"

Here's the result: Link
