Has anyone written a how-to or posted a topic in their forums that spells out for their users how to efficiently use the forums? Like how use and the benefits of using the Active Topics page or tips in using the search page.
I am not sure that I am articulate enough to help my users rather than confuse them further. If any one has done this and does not mind me using their handiwork I would appreciate it. I think the FAQs is fine but some of my users need a little push in the right direction.
We don't have a specific 'how to' but once I strike up a friendship with a new member, I often checking their reading habits and suggest the use of Active Topics .... it's to the stage now where onlny the really new members don't use it
