| I want to attempt to create a new header for the forum based on my new website design. Can anyone tell me what code is necessary from the current inc_header.asp file to make my new header work? |

most of the top part which relates to the login code and setting up the initial variables, I started by chopping out large chunks of it and putting the various bits into include files, then once I was sure it still worked, I could then edit the includes which made up the formatting.
if you take a look at the http://www.dipex.org/community this is how I did the header for that, so now my inc_header has several includes, one does the header graphic, one for the menu, one for the login boxes etc, I left as much of the actual 'code' in the original inc_header, I could email a few of the files if you want to take a look |

Huw ...... if you have time, will you email me those files too.
I too am trying to alter my header, and am running into all kinds of troubles.
All i wanted to do was center the home, profile, etc ....
But now that i see yours, i like that idea and the fact that i can do it like that, only alter it to suit my needs.

I am actually at home today, so will zip up the files and post them later so you can take a look. Appologies for the delay, but my mom got taken into hospital, so it has been a little hectic rearranging the xmas plans.
She is ok now, and hopefully coming out later today |
