PLEASE HELP, I also have signed up for three ready hosting accounts (Great service by the way), but I can not get the forums to work. The company I was hosting the forum with before was real simple, I entered my address of:

strConnString = "DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)}; DBQ=d:\cust\assal\allstarsoundandlight\db\snitz_forums_2000.mdb

So I tried doing the same at Readyhosting, I know the path is different but hear it is:

strConnString = "DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)}; DBQ=d:\html\users\hackdavecom\database\hu.mdb

Now I changed the name of the DB to hu.mdb from snitz_forums_2000.mdb. I tried this on my other host work with out a problem, So I know it is not a issue of the DB being the rong name. I guess my question is, how can I fix this? or is there a way to use a DSN with the Snitz Forums?

I also get this error now: -2147418113
Not sure if that is any help... I also sometimes get a 500 error, It leads me to beleave there is something up with the server.

Thank you for your help!

Mark

to use a DSN:

use this:

strConnString = "DSN=DSN_NAME"

just replace DSN_NAME with your DSN Name.

It appears that Readyhosting uses Access 2000.

Try this setting

***UnRem & Change this Line***
strConnString = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=d:\html\users\<your web site>\database\snitz_forums_2000.mdb;" '## MS Access 2000
