A person who freely admits to not playing with it at all, has little/no knowledge of it's history, but can somehow come to the conclusion that even though it's not better as a scripting language, it's not good for forums. I just don't understand how you can draw conclusions like that without any experience. Then to go and say it's leading all others.
Reverse the coin - what would we be saying if a person who knows PHP but has no knowledge of ASP suddenly starts saying that ASP is no good for forums ? |

I'm not saying its right, I'm just saying its not strange.
Personally I think with the scaling complexity of these forum systems, a little more rich language may be more appropriate. AKA Java, C#, Delphi ect. ect. (Maybe PHP5?) |
