how did you do the upgrade? Did you overwrite all of the 3.1sr2 .asp files with the ones from 3.1sr4? Did you run setup and let the setup program make the necessary changes to the database? Do you have the database in a seperate database directory?

Actually let me start over. I have version 3sr2 already running. I unzipped the new version 3.1sr4 into a different directory and made a copy of the database and also put that in another directory.

I found out today that the original running version is now having similar problems in which it was running fine before I tried the new verison and upgrade the database.

Intermittent error on old forum

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'

Could not use ''; file already in use.

/pilot/forum/config.asp, line 50

Does the setup change any dll's, inf's or ini's?
