I'll try that.
For now, I have an ugly work around. Instead of calling the forum code to handle authentication, I check the XXUser cookie for the User/Password, connect to the database (UGH!) to check authentication then log the user in.
I obviously don't want that extra db hit. That's not the elegant solution to a complex problem I was hoping for. |
