Rebel I've been working on something similar to Gremlins code for a web log. It looks like you've run into the same problem I did. The problem occurs when the message is cut off between html tags. You have an open quote tag and font tag (view the source). When you close the message before the quote it works fine. I haven't had time to work on a fix and I'm not sure I can. Might be beyond my minimal skills .
There is a function in the Content Display mod which removes all forum code from a message. That sounds as if it should work here just as well, although it will probably have to be changed a little. If you decide to use it, you should comment the function and mention which mod the function comes from along with the author's name (@tomic), so that you credit him properly.
Gremlin, I just now got back online. I have tried the latest out as a stand-alone and as an include. It works great! Good job and very quick also. This is exactly what I have been looking for. I will punch it up with tables and forum category/cell colors. I will post it here. I was thinking maybe you should move this over to mod with code. There have been a lot of posts concerning this subject and I think you may have just provided a lot of folks with a very good mod. Thanks for everything!

How about you tidy it up and release it as a MOD ? you have full permission to take my code there and restructure it and put your name to it if you wish.
You'll need to tweak the list of HTML tags to strip out, add BLOCKQUOTE in there as well and see if that fixes it. I only put the bare minimum of tags in there that I could think of.
By the way thats showing 5 posts not 3, have you changed it ?
Gremlin, I hate dumping the simplest of tasks on you and not doing them myself. I just went and looked at your function and I have no idea of how to add BLOCKQUOTE to the list of html tags to strip out...
Alright! It is working flawlessly (as far as I can tell). This could even be modified a little and used for a display of a Snitz blog ??? What do you think about making the last line look something like this: More >> Replies (12)
by adding the number of replies and a link to the last post? Or do you think that is too much?
