Hello.. I think may be this is a MOd idea... actually i need to use the same Database..for the Snitz..forum and one thing this is the Best i have ever..seen... and for my other site
I mean any one registering on my site or with Forum should work with the other...thing... so that Users...need not to register twice... and i just need to make Restriction on Folders.... can any one help...tell me anyhting how to..and if any one needs any detials..let me knoww.... Dr-Hack
You can use the Snitz tables for anything else you want, or add new tables to the database. If you want to see how Snitz verifies/logs on a user just look in the inc_header.asp file.
We use 1 MySQL database that is shared amongst 3 sperate servers via remoting. Your speed will slightly suffer on the sites where the webserver & MySQL server arent on the same box, but it's not bad.
