I know this exists and I am having trouble finding it. After doing a search I found the topic I wanted (crash topic) but his download link didnt work and (naturally ) I cant view the SOURCE on the computer I am on. Anyone have a download link that is current? Or at least the instructions on what to change?
Thanks.

Ok I found the download link I was looking for at SnitzBitz but there is a lot more change to the forum that Crash has in the readme than (I think) there needs to be. On crash's original topic on this MOD someone mentioned only having to change four lines of code in default.asp and forum.asp. I would like to hardcode as well. What do I need to do to do that?

ehh maybe I am not clear enough. What I mean is when you hover over the category, forum, topic, etc in forum.asp or default.asp the color of the table changes. http://www.crashsite.nl has what I am thinking of.

Crash has a link to his hover mod too. http://www.crashsite.nl/file_library.asp?showmethefile=88&thatcat=13&thiscat=Crash+Override+Mods

I don't think it's only a few lines like you are thinking though. Take a look at this link.

I have the full crash site that I made a bunch more modifications too running. I like the crash code.

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e57'

String or binary data would be truncated.

/inc_whoisonline.asp, line 191

Thats what I get.

I just sent you an e-mail. Reply and I'll include the zip for the files. I just went to his site and it still is working fine for me.

Here it is: Hover Colour MOD
And the correct link to his file exchange is: www.crashhosting.nl/file_library/filelibrary.asp

Crap, that stopped working as well. Well, Cliff is sending it to you anyway, so doesn't matter now...

I already found that download and it is not hardcoded. It has way to many changes for a simple hover change. What do I need to do to hard code it using only four lines of code suggested by mmaynard in this topic:

I'm not sure if this is what you want.
class=""Mout"" onMouseOver=""className='Mover'"" onMouseOut=""className='Mout'""

  • Find the row you want to change

    • <tr>

    • Change to this
      "<tr class=""Mout"" onMouseOver=""className='Mover'"" onMouseOut=""className='Mout'"">"

  • You then have to remove all the bgcolor in the <td> cells.

    • "<td bgcolor=""" & strForumCellColor & """>"

  • Add the 2 classes to inc_header.asp

    • ".Mout {background-color:red;}" & vbNewLine & _
      ".Mover {background-color:green;}" & vbNewLine & _
