Well guys, just got done with an upgrade. Still working on a lot of small things but I thought I'd show you what I have so far.
We run a "dual" interface forum as a lot of you may know. One side at Snowmobile Fanatics and the other at Polaris Files. Both of the forums include many modifications.
The URL's of the forums are here:
http://www.snowmobilefanatics.com/forum http://www.polarisfiles.com/forum
You can use the username/password of test/test to login and sneak around a bit. An interesting area is in the Members Area - Manage Personal Website. In here a member can create a small nice little website. Check that out as well, and thanks to redbrad0 for helping develop this with me. A sample of a member site is here, one I quickly whipped up. http://www.snowmobilefanatics.net/erick
Also, a redesigned look of the forum, mostly on SF. Redisigned topic.asp, etc... Still going through all the files.
Please give my any comments, suggestions, anything you please.

WOW! I love the design. Very well done.
The only thing it doesn't have is the hover thing saying: Powered By: Snitz Forums 2000 Version 3.4.03 ..or is it my browser not showing it properly??

I checked it several times before I posted here, and I even tried other forums which do have it, and they showed it. I think my browser was seriously messed up. Sorry about that!

Feedback seems to be coming slow for all of us.
As for your site, It is one of the best I have seen! I was very happy with mine but yours puts mine to shame. Good color coordination and GREAT graphics. I sure would like to know how you did the latest topics with the body of the post on your home page! |

Sr_Erick , a suggestion: In the 'polarisfiles-view', the stars are not completely 'borderless' and give a bit of an 'edgy' look. Maybe something to improve ? For the rest ... very good ! very good indeed!

When he's referring to "we" I'm the other half.
Just thought I'd throw that out there. |

sr_erick or master of puppets,
I wanted to beg you and see if you could show me how to create the "The latest topics submitted" like you have on your home.asp? This is EXACTLY what I have been wanting to do. Thanks

Thanks for the reply Marcel. Where can I find this mod? I have searched here and found many references to it but no code or links. I went to crash's site with the same results. |
