Is there any mod that add's authentication of the Email address to the guestbook?
What I envisage is the following.
The domain of the given address is checked via an MX lookup.
If this passes, a test email is sent to the relevant mail server directly, (not using the predefined mail server) in order to check the SMTP status number on send.
If the SMTP server is prepared to accept the address, then the person can go ahead and post.
Any failure in the above will disallow the person posting.
