My layout goal with this site is to maintain the standard Snitz layout and merge other scripts and functions into it. Please let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions.
Site URL: http://whipp.us
TIA
PS - I also wanted to thank wii for the "popup" gallery script that I found out on the www. I used it as my basis for the picture galleries. |

I don't know why you think there is too much green?!?! Actually, I did this for my 80 year old father. We tried several single-color layouts and green was easier for him to see.
The only XML MOD is Richard's RSS Feed script. |

I can see all the work you have put in. Good job. I hate to agree but, man, that is a lot of green. But if you like green then you have done a good job of laying out the color scheme. I really like the no seperation lines look. Everything is well layed out and very easy to navigate. Good choice in mods also. Way to go. |

Good job. It is a bit green, but if that's what your dad can see best then it's good.
<ot>I just can't keep it, but just looking at that domain name makes me think it should be for a S&M site. I know it's your last name and the us is supposed to be for U.S., but that's not what hit me the first time I saw the two together </ot> |

That's OK. My wife always tells me my minds in the gutter most times anyways, so that's why I probably picked up on it. |

Nice site...
I, too, like the no separation lines layout. Another way to achieve this effect is to change all of the cellspacing=""1"" references to cellspacing=""0"". This way you don't get separation lines in the header bar, etc. It's a little more work but can leave a cleaner look. |

Looks quite nice, personally I'd maybe consider a dark olive green background instead of the white, it constrasts a litte too much with the more fluro green colours you have going on there at the moment imo. |

Nice work Kevin. I like the green . You've added a bunch of nice features. Where did the spellchecker come from? I like it. I also checked out your blog and I see you have done about the same thing I am trying to do now. I finished up my "blog.asp" the other day and it looks about like yours. You didn't have any replies, so I'm curious where you display them, because I haven't got that far yet. |

I like the look, but I'd change the background color to white. The green isn't too far off from white but is a bit too hard IMO. Also, the moderator(s) column could probably be hidden.
Personally I feel the site lacks contrast, but if it works for you and your members that's cool |

I did take your suggestion (and time) to change the cell spacing to 0. Thanks. |

The Spell Checker can be downloaded at SnitzBitz: http://www.snitzbitz.com/mods/details.asp?Version=All&mid=81
Regarding the blog ... <joking>why didn't you just reply and see where they display.</joking> Actually, each blog entry is a normal topic in my blog forum. The replies to my blog are just normal replies to the blog topic. To display the replies, I just display the "topic.asp" page. |

I would usually agree with you. However, I want to show people that the Kids category is moderated. |

Thanks Kevin. I thought about replying but figured You might not want your new member "snitz" posting all over the place . That's the way my blog is working right now, but I'm thinking about writing a separate "blog_topic" page. That's why I asked. Thanks for the info . |
