I have a new site that I am fixing to roll out. With any luck, it may get some users. At this point, i don't think I need to add user groups but, I can see that with a little growth, user groups could save some work. My question is adding Nikkol's User Groups Mod something I should do now so it is in place if I ever need it or would it be just as easy and beneficial to wait until I needed it to install it? |

It won't hurt to have it installed now. You can just use the download that already includes the changes needed for the mod, in addition to the base install.
Just IMHO. |

Thanks ruirib, I think I will use it. I have already done a ton of changes (not that you could tell by looking) and installed the poll and active users mod among several others. I guess I will have to manually mod this one in but it does sound cool.

Well if you have changes, may you can defer the mod installation, if you do not need it ASAP. The mod is one of the best ever documented mods I've seen, so applying it shouldn't be too difficult, but since you have other changes you may choose to install it only when needed. |
