This is really strange, most search engines I try to go to (ie: google, Altavista .. etc) when I type in the www to my browser the page goes directly to cPanel.com

I can go to yahoo, but when I type in a search, the page comes up with a 404 error, same thing if I am at msn.com and other search engines. I have searched the registry for anything suspicious, the hard drive, I have reset my IE to it's defaults, and still nothing. I have ran Adaware, Spybot, and they come up with nothing. It only does it on my one PC, not my other 2 or my 2 laptops. (so it's not my ISP)

Anyone run into or heard of this before?

Thanks

Thanks marcelgoertz, I did not even think of looking in the hosts file. Would you believe there were 108 entries for every search engine you could think of redirecting me to cPanel.com

Thanks again
