I'd like to be able to Moderate Topics in just one Forum, not all Topics posted.
Why do you ask?
I'm implementing an "Articles, News, & Reviews" Forum on my site. Each certain Topic is going to be awarded a certain post count (I'll need help w/ that code as well). I would like for the Topics posted in that Forum to be Moderated.
I want to have in just that Forum, instead of "New Topic", it will have "Article", "News", or "Review". Each will have a different value of post count if approved, "News" = 2, "Article" = 3, and "Review" = 5.
I will then have this Forum as part of the Portal MOD so that they get spotlighted when the main site is visited.
I know little to nothing about ASP, but am willing to put a lot of effort/work into if somebody can just point me in the right direction.
Of course, if somebody thinks it's a bad idea, I'd like to hear that as well . . . not really, but I felt compelled to say that. |

then you would only enable Moderation in the 1 forum. When you edit the properties of each forum, you can choose to have moderation on or off. |

I mean that members CAN'T create a new Topic in just one Forum w/o Moderation. I was thinking the Topic Moderation was an all or nothing and you could pick and choose for just one or more Forums. |

OIC now. I turn Moderation ON for the whole forum, then edit each category/forum as to wether or not I want Moderation.
You need a "dunce" smilie. <:) |
