I have always tried to have - as much as possible - a paper-less office.
I was just wondering how many other business owners here in the US still prefer to use their pc or do they sill tend to use Fax Machines....
I have fiddled around with FaxWorks, TalkWorks Pro and numerous other pc fax programs with varying degrees of success....
I was going to sign up with Faxaway.com - who we used when we were based in Cayman Islands
I know they are very dependable and an extremely good service and it is all done through email....
However - I was just wondering what others around here do - especially in the US...
I guess I have to weigh up the cost of faxaway's $0.11 / minute against Sprint's cost - but the ease of viewing faxes wherever I am - maybe the difference....
Any thoughts on this ?? What do you do ?? Fax or puter ??
I can only speak for what we do, but most people over here (in the Netherlands) seem to prefer a paper fax. I do send PDF-format price quotes through email every now and then, mostly because it's 100% clear what's on the quote (and doesn't cost a thing), as opposed to the often big loss of quality when using a fax machine.
