There is this pesky "%>" at the top which I cannot seem to get rid off. The problem is in inc_func_common.asp but I cannot seem to find it. Any hints?

Just now, I didn't change any script. Then I access the au page and saw this:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e14'
Line 1: Incorrect syntax near '='.

/active_users.asp, line 411

=======================================

Later, it is ok already. What is happening?

Look in config.asp

What's that supposed to mean? Does it work now?

I get that Active Users error every so often, don't know if it's a known bug though, i'm too lazy to read through the AU threads

The "incorrect syntax" error has been fixed in the main AU topic (IIRC). The one that was solved was caused by the events calendar.
