Just noticed the TM symbol after "Snitz" in the title of this forum. Am I going mad or is this a recent addition? I assume it's as a result of the recent thread in "Show Off Your Forum" where somebody registered the snitz domain name in another country?

Search is your friend “I was having a mildly paranoid day, mostly due to the fact that the mad priest lady from over the river had taken to nailing weasels to my front door again.” |

It shows up as an invalid character in the Title Bar for me, is that just my internet explorer? I noticed this too - in the start bar it shows up as Snitz| Forums 2000. Just thought I'd let you know |

It would be windows not explorer that is not displaying it, do you have some strange character set installed ? |

The character set for English (British) as far as I know.. it displays fine on the page itself, just the header bar and start bar from the <title> tag. I'm confused about what this is, but it doesn't make much difference |

I added it earlier today so that it would be consistent, but since it's displaying as an unknown character for you, I've removed it for now. |

I too noticed it was there earlier, it was even in superscript. I never tried but assumed that level of formatting wasn't available.
As far as having "some strange character set" installed, I presume I don't since I have no idea where I would get any character set or how to install one. It displayed just fine for me, using W2K. |

Thanks Richard . This could just be a specific problem for me, so if you think its less confusing to have it consistant keep it there. I don't know if any other users were getting the same thing.
When I viewed Snitz (TM) Forums 2000 in the top right hand corner of the site above the menus it displayed fine, just not in the <title> / start bar as I said. |

What version of Internet Explorer are you using? I've seen this behavior in v5.xx, but not in v6.xx |

Version 6.0.2800.1106 according to Help --> About IE. Its a windows me machine, just recently replaced the graphics card and installed a second monitor with a pci graphics card, but I doubt any of that could have made a difference. |

Yes, I did remove the 2000 at one point, but ended up putting it back. |
