I like the background, however I feel that the contrast in the actual forum from bright orange and yellow to -black- is too big.
why not try some brighter colours for the forum ? Just an idea. You could also try Shaggy's orange icons (http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=47854)
I really like the transparent/absent tableborder! This has a great effect!

The background image you're using now should be blurred a bit, at least at the bottom, so the pixels don't show so obviously.
Also the column containing the forum or topic titles has a background image while the other columns don't. Not a big deal in itself, but it doesn't look very nice IMO unless you change the background image by flipping it both horizontally and vertically so it'll fade to black from the top-left corner down.
The ranking stars have a slight white halo around them, which could be removed, or you could try using a different set of ranking stars. I think MeTV has some on his site.
Other than that I like the look you have given the forums :) |
