It might look a bit strange that I post this here in the Design Requests With Code, but I wanted to have a place to talk about this feature while it's being tested / enhanced or otherwise removed again.

In the V3.1 Beta 2 you will find a install and update page for SQL-Server and Access 97.
I could only test this with SQL-Server 6.5 and Access 97 although I think the code I used should work with SQL-Server 7 also (I don't have 7, if someone feels like donating it feel free, but until then...)

One thing I didn't get quite right were the FOREIGN KEYS and TRIGGERS. You see the commented out in the inc_create_forum.asp
In SQL-Server 6.5 it looked as if the triggers weren't fired when I i.e. moved a topic and that caused the foreign keys constraint to throw an error.

Anyhow, all comments, testing, suggestions for modification, or even just letting know that it worked for you (of maybe it didn't) are much appreciated...

Gor-

If you have Office Developer or Visual Studio you can get a free developer version of SQL7. With Office Developer it comes with the Access Workflow Designer you can get from MS. VS EE gets you a full Backoffice 4.5 developer package.

I'll do a fresh Beta2 install on SQL7, if lucky it'll be today.
