This is off-topic, I know, but do you guys know of any free/open source search engine type spider programs that can return results that can be used in ASP.

Been looking around and not found anything yet.

cheers.

Are you looking for a script that'll search just your site or the entire web?

Search is your friend

I'm looking just for search of our own site. There are lots of dynamic database driven pages, mixed with static ones, so a spider with search engine type results would be easiest to implement, if we can find one. Might just have to bite the buller and pay for something.

We could always just use Google or somethings, but I hate it when searches go off to a totally unrelated looking page.

The article is interesting Mule, just wonder if someone out there has already made it work.

Have a look at the My Own Google Mod, maybe you could get that to work for you without much modification. If not, maybe it's a (optional) feature you can add you could add to the next release, OWM?
