I've noticed that the badwords aren't dynamic, so when you change them to filter them out, then turn it off, the words which had been filtered don't change back.
Is there anyway to make them dynamic?
Eg,
If I filter out Snitz as ***** , but then decide I want to turn that filter off, I'd like Snitz to turn back from *****
Would anyone be able to implement this?
Also, I've noticed it filters outside replies/posts (eg, forum titles etc)...but I'd like it to only filter topics, replies etc

we don't do it "dynamically" because when you replied to a post where the badword had been filtered, then it wouldn't be masked. So, we permanently mask them when the post is made (or edited). They used to be dynamic in earlier versions of the forum. |
