This MOD I created using OneWay's Custom Policy for help. Thanks OneWay, hope you dont mind!

This MOD allows you to create a custom welcome letter in the admin options. The letter appears after the new member has registered.

Hey Ryan, no, I don't mind, I actually think this is a good MOD idea!

Though I have found some parts from the Policy MOD you've forgotten to edit in admin_welcome.asp:

Find the following line in admin_welcome.asp (line 63):
" <meta http-equiv=""Refresh"" content=""2; URL=admin_policy.asp"">" & vbNewLine & _

and change it to:
" <meta http-equiv=""Refresh"" content=""2; URL=admin_welcome.asp"">" & vbNewLine & _

Find the following line in admin_welcome.asp (line 65):
" <p align=""center""><font face=""" & strDefaultFontFace & """ size=""" & strDefaultFontSize & """><a href=""admin_policy.asp"">Back To Custom Policy Admin</font></a></p>" & vbNewLine

and change it to:
" <p align=""center""><font face=""" & strDefaultFontFace & """ size=""" & strDefaultFontSize & """><a href=""admin_welcome.asp"">Back To Welcome Letter Admin</font></a></p>" & vbNewLine

There was some other issues (layout) due to removing only parts of certain code blocks (tables), I have put a zip file with admin_welcome.asp with all the fixes here.
You might want to test it and maybe include it in your zip file.

Also your admin_home.asp gave me an error (line 152):
		" <LI><span class=""spnMessageText""><a href=""admin_welcome.asp"">Welcome Letter Administration</a></span></LI>" & vbNewLine & _ '#####WELCOME LETTER MOD BY REDUCKS87#####

You might want to remove the comments (red) and maybe include instructions on how to add this line in admin_home.asp to your readme file.

Apart from that, everything worked as it should.

Links Manager - MyOwnGoogle - Profile Views - Search Log - WebSearch

Thanks, OneWay. I tried to change all the policy.asp file includes and lines regarding the policy but I couldnt get everything!
I have included the admin_welcome.asp in the download and modified the readme to reflect the change in the admin_home.asp. Thanks! Remember, everyone, this is still a beta. Install at your own risk. Hopefully, after a few more bug fixes I will release the full live forum version.

Oops forgot to include the part about instruction on the db update. You "pros" can assume that is what needs to be done but some beginners might forget. The download link is updated.

No. Not one where you can create your own welcome letter then go and look at it. But you may view a sample of a letter that your users will see here. This is a live forum and even though I tell you not to install it on one yet I did on mine because I can troubleshoot my own MOD.

I was wondering if anyone who has installed this would like to let me know if the MOD works as it should when you have the approve registrations to ON?
Also, I am thinking of adding a little addition to the code that would allow new members login then view the message. The message could be a little more personalized then because their own name could be inserted. However if you have approve registration ON you would have to dowload a different MOD which will probably be the original (this one)

Hello Snitzlings!

I'm very enthusiastic about this mod. So enthusiastic that I came to Snitzland to d/l it. I tried at SnitzBitz but the Zip was empty... I thought that I would let someone know.

Thanks reducks87.
Thanks OneWay.
