Well loads of work!! And we have a forum.
1) The major change to this forum is that it doesn’t actually use the forum_members table.. It uses the sites customer table with its own defined fields. I have fixed all (i hope) scripts to work on the database. (Based on DAO layers - I have another post with some samples of this in Mods w/o code)
2) The site actually uses email to logon instead of user names, although both are supported.
3) Shoot me for using those phpbb icons, but they really look cool, I had to make quite a few extra to suite all the options of Snitz.(Which phpbb will offcourse never have!!)
4) I put some 3d Smile’s in.
5) Created a new header for the forum.
Well that’s about it, Feedback and Comments WANTED!

Really nice site. Love the graphics and color sheme.
The only recommendation I would make is to the font color with the what I call one of the header info areas. For instance, on default.asp the header I see is "FORUM TOPICS POSTS, ect.." This line for me is hard to read with such a light grey back and then a white color for the font. I would recommend using the logos blue/green color there. And you would keep with the theme of alternating between white and bluegreen for the font color that you have going.

Thanks for all the replies...
I know those icons are NOT ORIGINAL... but im a programmer and not a graphics guy. I wish I was able to create or draw my own icons but unfortunately I cannot and had to settle with the next best available thing.
I had to get a look/feel that semi fitted in with the actual main site, hence the look its got. (I’m not sure if I achieved it though)
If we grow I might have some funds to pay someone to re-draw the Icons and make them original, but yes point taken!!

Dawid, any forum can be put forward for the awards. The judges are anonymous and look at each and every forum equally and unbiased. Put your site forward, you never know!  |

Depends on how you see the use of the word gay. Because don't forget that it doesn't just mean "homosexual", but it can also mean "happy", "lively", "merry", "bright in colors", "carefree", or as it's also used a lot nowadays "stupid".

There was one time when a site used a Snitz forum, but since it wasn't used as a forum but instead used a forum as the base and for 'content management', it was disqualified. No "objectionable" content to be found there, just not a forum anymore for as far as the "guests" could see. But I guess that's not relevant... |

Ill be sure to submit our forums for the Awards... You never know.
I hope our forums dont turn into a content managment system as we actually prefer it to be used as forums, but adding forums and getting people to use it are two diffrent things.
Anyways...
