Do you mean you turned the Poll Mod On but when you submit it and go back, it is still turned Off?
Check to make sure you have all the poll mod code in your config.asp file. Check to make sure you uploaded the correct config.asp file. Go to your setup.asp page to refresh the session variables.
Those are for starters. |

Just going to the setup.asp page, will refresh the session variables. You should get a message saying your forum is setup and ready to be used (or something like that). |

Send me a link to your forum along with a username and password of an admin account. I will take a look at your problem.
The last user who had this problem, didn't upload all of the poll mod files. |

Can you send me a copy of your config.asp file? Also you seem to be missing poll mod code from your post.asp file. |

My suspicions were right. You left out some of the poll mod code out of your config.asp file. Although i asked you to double check it. Please do a search for the words 'Poll Mod' in the config.asp file that came with the mod. There you will find all the code you should add to your config.asp file.
There is some code missing near to the end of the config.asp file.
After getting your config.asp fixed, you can try posting a new poll. If you don't see any poll options on post.asp file, then you didn't add the poll mod code. |

Did you add the poll mod code to your forum.asp file? |

Ah maybes i misunderstood, im so sorry to trouble you further.
I thought you ment a file poll_mod.asp which im pretty sure does not exist and add it by <!--#INCLUDE FILE="poll_mod.asp"--> at the top of the forum.asp file.

No. The forum.asp does not include any poll_mod.asp file. Only the default.asp file includes the inc_poll.asp file.
What I asked you to do was to check your forum.asp file and make sure you inserted all of the poll mod code.
If you are having a hard time copying the poll mod code into your files, maybe you could try this program to help you out. Beyond Compare It's a file comparison software that compares the text in 2 files side by side and shows you the differences between each file.
That's what i use to make sure users have installed all of the poll mod code into thier files. |

I will need to take a look at your forum.asp ad post.asp files. It seems the poll mod code is still missing from those files.
Post a link to txt versions of those 2 files. |
