I compared the asp files, they are OK
Note: They are not completely up-to-date with the security updates (don't now if this is needed because it's not related to usergroups).

The url to the images in the readme.htm is wrong (directory readme_pics doesn't exist)

I guess Nikkols documentation is so good. That updating takes a long time ;)

As I said it's not needed the changes will be minor and not related to usergroups. If you still want it, give me an emailaddress.

if they are in the production release version then we want them added to the files we have here in this download ;)

Everytime I add a new group I keep getting the error message below.

Error Type:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server (0x80040E14)
Line 1: Incorrect syntax near 'LIMIT'.
/forum/admin_usergroups.asp, line 117


The group is added although the ticked boxes aren't ticked unless I edit the forum and tick them.

any ideas?

that's fine with me. Mike, you wanna just email me with what needs to be included in the new topic? I'll take a look at what you've done and create an updated zip package ... I'll just call it the official released version if you think that won't be too confusing. Then, any future versions will be to add functionality to it.

emailed file and info. It hasn't been fully tested yet... so maby a beta 2 would be better... and if it flies with no problems... release it ;)

I had to re-do this from a base forum install that is not used due to the couple of other mods I've done to my own forum.
