I'm looking for a possible add-on, that I can put on the front of my webpage, that shows the last 4-5 posts in my message boards for that site? Any such thing?

I ended up using some simple includes on my front page.

When you are saying front of your web page do you mean outside of the forums or do you have a portal mod?

As Francodepaw said, the content display mod is the way to go for this.
