When we purchased wrox.com they had a huge dissussion list for porgrammers to get help from other programmers. We have now converted that into Snitz forum and are very happy with the rusults of this software.
http://p2p.wrox.com
The site looks pretty basic but we added code to make certain categories open by default. Re-Wrote the subscription system to be able to handle thousands of subscribers with no impact to the poster, made a dynamic index of topics for search engines to spider, and made a couple of changes to the menu system like if you are logged in you don't see the register menu.
Let me know what you think, and feel free to join.
I would also like to say thank you to the makers of Snitz for a wonderful product that I hope will end up helping thousands of programmers find answers to their questions.

I'm getting horizontal scrollbars at 800x600.
At first glance I thought that Statistics was another forum, as it was part of the same large black block. Try using white as the table border colour maybe...
On forum.asp, you have the width set to 100%, which looks a bit odd.

I agree. The black bars with bold yellow text are a little heavy IMHO. I can't stop looking at them to get to the content.
Thanks for bringing the P2P forums back to life. I am grateful.

Wow, Snitz and Wrox together rocks!
Nice features you've added, but I agree that the big, black bar in the middle is a bit imposing. At first I thought it was some sort of page display error. Perhaps it would help if the borders and cells were different colors? That way is would appear to be a series of cells rather than a big block.
I'm working my way through three Wrox books, so I'll see you over there, too! |

Didn't wrox go bankrupt? What's happening over there now? Did someone else buy it out? |

yes Wrox did go bankrupt. The company i work for Wiley Publishing bought the Wrox name, a couple of the their websites, and 36 of their titles.
We hope to carry on the best of what Wrox had to offer. With the best part being the P2P website allowing programmers to get help from other programmers.
Thanks, James |

I'd always found Wrox publications to be of a high standard it's good to hear a company with such obvious good taste to be using Snitz will be trying to continue on their work. Best of luck James. |

Not too bad...Definitely need new folder colors though. That purple clashes! |

which purple?
I am limited on the colors that can be used due to the branding of the site with the Wrox book series. We will be changing the Icons down the road, but haven't had time to deal with to much of that with having to re-vamp the whole subscription engine just so the users who prefered the old discussion lists don't lynch us for changing them to a web forum. |
