Hey all,
I wrote the message below in another forum here at Snitz.
I am really concerned for Snitz and its continued legacy on the Internet. Will it always be here? You know, we just don't know that for sure.
I think it would be loads of fun to have a MOD with some of the starter features as I have listed in the wishlist that follows. There just isn't an elaborate advertising MOD offered here at Snitz. And advertising is what pays the bills for most sites. Frankly, if I don't sell, or should I say, am unable to sell, advertising I will not be able to give anything to Snitz for support.
I must have an advertising solution which makes my site's clients and prospective clients happy, secure, and repeat account holders. I think the solution must be easy, interactive, and interesting for the client, the administrator, and those who click through.
So here it goes ... my humble wishlist. Thank you for reading on!

I WISH there was a MOD FOR BANNER ADVERTISING allowing each Snitz admin who uses it on his or her site(s) to have:
1. An admin panel that gives a list of choices for when a new advertiser signs on for advertising:
- Put a check here to send a pledge to .... confirming that a donation of .... amount will be sent to this company's account because of this new adverstiser who has just contracted a subscription with your company for advertising.
- Put a check here if this is a monthly donation.
- Put a check here if this is a one-time donation.
2. The ability to have an ad click through internally to the site's database which would dynamically create a web page designed specifically for that advertiser where the advertiser could change content with their username and password. Where the user could get to know more about that advertiser without feeling like their activities are statistically tracked and they will be hunted down. Where the advertiser could feel as though they have more control over their account than just an image, a link, and a list of stats.
3. A variety of non-intrusive admin, user, and advertiser stats.
4. A rating and a voting system.
5. A billing system where the admin could offer separate payment options to advertisers.
6. Not a priority but a wishful wish is to have a store and a shopping cart. Just an add-on to the MOD I suppose. But the same principle could apply to store and shopping cart sales as in #1 above - a portion of the sale could be donated back.
I also wish that this was a MOD made available for download and widely promoted for as many Snitz admins as possible. I hope that such a MOD could have the potential to make both the admins of the MOD, and the creators of the MOD, the creators of Snitz, and the creators of other MODs, a little bit of extra funds to help them get by as it would be nice to get back just a little in return for giving so much.
I have my wishing wells full of coins and my magic lamps rubbed clean through ... just hoping for the wishes to come true now.
