I logged on as the Administrator and even made myself the moderator on my Test Forum. There's a post from a member I want to move, but when I log on as the Admin (as the moderator) I don't see the Forum drop down box. If I 'edit' on one of my posts as Admin, I can see the option to place it in a different forum. Any thoughts on why I can't move a member's post? TIA

you can only move a Topic, not the replies to that topic. |

Hmm...I have a forum called Welcome New Members, then a topic under that called Welcome. If someone replied in that Welcome topic with something that should go in a different forum and topic, I can't move that huh? In other words, once someone creates a topic in a forum and members start replying, those posts are stuck there? -o |

you can move the whole topic, just not individual replies in that topic. |

At the DB level that would be possible, yes. You'd just need to change the TOPIC_ID and (if needed) the CAT_ID for the replies to be moved in the FORUM_REPLY table.
Worked out perfectly ! Obrigado Juan |
