well the only thing now i think is that it won't save the changes that members make to their avatars in the database

None of the avatar changes have been applied to that file, is that the most recent version?

well it still dont work. if you look at the profile page it shows you the avatar so it now is being saved in the database but it just doesn't show up on the posts. i am going to run through your readme again and just apply everything again cos i have done it all wrong.
