Have you added any mods to your forum or made any other changes to topic.asp?

Can you post a link to a text version of your topic.asp file?

likey that you've made a coding error applying the mods if you look at the posted date they are all screwed as well, the only thing I can offer right now I'm afraid is that you double check all your changes. If you care to post text copies of topic.asp for us we can probably take a look for you and perhaps spot any obvious errors.

I'd take a close look at the order of the fields in the select statements and the code used to associate them with the GetRows() arrays

As far as I can see you have not made all the changes suggested in the avatar readme, the last few changes for topic.asp are missing from the file you posted.

take a look at that file again i have changed it and it now displays the posts properly. But the avatars dont show up. it appears to me that there is nothing that actually writes the avatar image.

Your correct, you are still missing the changes from the readme, the last changes in the topic.asp section.

Yes there are two sets of changes there, ones that say "For snitz 3.4, 3.4.0.1 and 3.4.0.2 follow this step" and the others that say "For snitz 3.4.0.3 follow this step".

Far enough, but I would say if you follow the instructions properly the "stupid mod" is easy to setup and get working.

There are other avatar mods available at this web site:http://www.crashhosting.nl:81/filelibrary.asp
