The situation around the preparation of an international version of the Snitzforumprogram has some uncertainties at this moment. Mike Anderson promised that the dev. group on this site will finish the job that Bozden prepared during the last three years. It would be a good thing if we, the members of the internationalization group, would be informed who of the team is working at it. We are testing the alfaversion at this moment, and we are not far away from a possible betarelease. So, communication between everybody involved is a necessary thing. Snitz is an international community, and for many users of the program a version for none english speakers is a must. Let us keep that in mind. grtz Romée < |

I concur with Romée on this. For non-english speaking users the internationalized version is of the utmost importance. We have been without the benefits of 3.4 features for quite a while now and we were a bit under the impression that the alpha version was just about ready to go into beta status. Since Bozden went away, there have been no news on the subject and we've been wondering how things will be going and how long it will take for us to be able to use 4.0Beta4. So, if anyone can share any concrete info on this, it would be appreciated.< |

I`d like to know that as well and some other German users as well, I think. We have been waiting for it to long.< |

I'm afraid you will have to be patient a while longer, until someone has familiarised themselves enough with 4 to co-ordinated its completion< |

Thanks for your answer Huwr, but sad that no better news could be given. Things being as they are, we, the internationalization workgroup, shall continue our testing and hopefully release a betaversion soon. I hope that good communication will follow, when someone of the dev. team is familiar with this kind of job. As Rasco and Rui say, the waiting for the none-english speakers, has been to long. grtz Romée< |
